Understanding and Accepting Your Feelings

Have you ever wanted your friends or others to do something for you?
Think about it: if they didn't do it, would you feel sad or scared?

If you could only control what you do and no one else, would that make you feel sad or scared?
What if someone else made many decisions for you? Would that make you feel sad or scared?
Let's think about times when you might feel sad or scared.

When you want to get angry or when you feel bad, how does it make you feel? Is it sad or scary?
When things don't go your way, when you want to be with someone, when you're bored, or when you feel weak, do these moments make you feel sad or scared?

If something feels "not good" to you, really pay attention to that feeling.
Do you feel "It's not good, but it's okay" or do you feel "It's not good, and I can't handle it"?

Here's an important thing to remember:
When you feel bad, notice your feeling and accept it. Even if you have different thoughts, it's okay. Care about your feelings. And after that, think about how others might feel too.
